Mercs quarters basically the same layout as before, a few symbols have changed to match EVE
I do like the marketplace changes which show you what skills you are missing but also that you can buy the skill books and use them while staying on the same page, still nice and tidy tbh
Dropsuit/vehicle fitting also have the marketplace shortcut so if you are looking for something you can find it buy it and then go back to the fitting screen which is a nice touch, annoying tho when it asks you to go back after you buy something every time
The new skills and mods i havnt really had a chance to use at all, ive looked at the active shield hardeners which tbh have 2 sets of stats and contradict each other so they will need to be tested unless CCP fix them, also the prop mods do not seem to effect the speed stats on a tank aswell so dont know if they work will also need testing and the stats also look lolworthy due to boosters being in effect for 30sec but cooldown is 0.5sec
Also the skill levels have been dropped but so has the SP gain so its all in line, doesnt seem too bad atm i can deal with it im playing for fun anyways and not really bothering about stats, ISK wise im rich *****
Gameplay has improved mostly due to the build being more stable, also hit detection is improved and scouts no longer are invincable
The new installations are awesome, laser rifles dont look too bad either and overall graphically its fine and for those complaining about at distance that ppl look like black blobs i dont care gameplay>>>>>>>>>>>>>graphics
My clone now has a bit of weight to him like he stacked up on bacon and cake, even the scout suit is fast at running but jumping no more so bunny hopping is out of the window
Mass driver got a buff and no idea why because its just like the demoman on TF2 no skill spamming so i might abuse it for easy kills
You cant spawn on objective which are being taken now so no longer can the dead just spawn on the point and **** the 1 guy taking it then again now that 1 guy can take an objective in peace so now it means all objectives need to be protected which lol randoms dont do
OB strikes way too easy to get, in the end a game is decided not by objectives but by which team can spam the most OB strikes to kill the clones. Needs a cooldown timer on them tbh and if you boost in the spawn then you can get alot of em so may also do that so CCP realises it needs a cooldown on it and its pointless to move out of milita stuff because OB>all atm
Spawning in the MCC rocks as you have to jump out
Grouping works damn well atm for me, nothing like the last build and corps ive yet to test out
As for milita gear can be bought with AUR its fine, cheap and unlimited and does a basic job and its what im using atm but to do the job better use ISK items

Well. that's actually a good analyze that i share almost fully. I would be a bit more harsh regarding the movement nerf. And Hit Detection has improved for sure but still feels funny from time to time. You dont seem to play with KBM so you couldnt notice that it is now acting funny. More sensitive but not really stable.
Overall, game progressed but gameplay feels off to me, mainly because of the movement nerf.
Regarding your suggestions for WP farming, it's been suggested a bunch of time already and CCP is already working on something. |
